Lindsay Connelly, Linden Digital Marketing - 2022

Lindsay Connelly

President

Lindsay has been working in digital marketing for over a decade. The core of her skill set is Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, and Google Data Studio—these tools report on the successes of her clients’ digital marketing campaigns. She founded Linden Digital Marketing, LLC in 2018. Some of Linden’s success stories include:

  • DSMS1.com. Working creatively with this sustainable, startup construction company’s $400/month media budget to double their revenue in the last seven years. This strategy included monthly Google Search Ads, display ads, WordPress (website) management, SEO, and email.

  • EarthPlanter.com. Using an integrated marketing strategy that includes Google Search Ads, SEO, content marketing, display ads, Bing ads, LinkedIn ads, Facebook ads, social influencer marketing, PR, sponsorships, and email marketing, our team helped increase revenue 10x over the past 7 years. EarthPlanter is now the leader in commercial self-watering planter systems.

Lindsay moved to Rochester, NY, from Connecticut to attend Rochester Institute of Technology and stayed in the area upon graduation for her love of the city. She graduated from RIT with a BA in Marketing, and minors in Finance, Communications, and Film in 2011. She obtained her MBA, with a focus in MIS, from RIT in 2018 with honors. She was named a Rochester Business Journal 40 Under 40 Honoree in 2022.

In her spare time, Lindsay enjoys rock climbing at the Red Barn on RIT’s campus and working on the board of Journeys of Solution’s Inc., a local nonprofit where she is responsible for digital marketing.

Michele Judkins

Director of Strategic Engagement

Michele was the first employee at Linden Digital Marketing and has helped drive the business forward since 2018. She was an integral part of the launch of the company, while attending Rochester Institute of Technology to finish her undergraduate degree. She graduated in 2020, with a BS in New Media Marketing and an immersion in Psychology.

Michele loves using psychology on a daily basis to build key audiences and envision the perfect pathways used to convert new users into returning customers. She is always refining customer journey touch points to create evergreen marketing funnels for Linden’s clients. One of the favorite aspects of her job is search engine optimization (SEO) to help clients show up at the top of searches for their most essential products and services. Her strengths also lie in Google Analytics, Facebook ads, and Google ads.

Some of her recent accomplishments include:

  • Lead the launch of a new website for a government non-profit client in June of 2021 with a new strategy which included text searchable blog sections to increase organic traffic. This was done by converting image and pdf files into searchable content, and restructuring the site to be search engine optimized. This, in tandem with Facebook ads and Google ads, lead to an increase of users by about 332% since June and a steady increase of key event completions monthly (about 1,043% increase since July), helping them to meet their conversion goals.

  • For TorcSill.com, helped develop a branded and non-branded SEO strategy, which included claiming all of the company’s nationwide locations on Google My Business, involving careful planning and coordination with employees. This effort increased phone calls to the company by 366% in just two months.

A Rochester native, Michele enjoys painting, swimming, and wandering around record shops and museums. She aggressively endorses and awaits the return of the 1970’s “conversation pit”.

Daniele’s focus at Linden Digital Marketing is design. She has a diverse background of graphic design experience; her formal training includes print design and production, design for digital platforms, photography, and graphic arts history. A key objective that is intrinsic to her design principles is that every single design has the potential to be great—each project deserves design solutions that are well-informed, deliberate, and built to the highest of standards.

A New Jersey transplant, Daniele came to Rochester to pursue a degree in Visual Media from Rochester Institute of Technology. Her BFA studies allowed her to gain skills in many creative fields, and that exposure now helps inform her design decisions in ways that knowledge in only one realm could not. This was made clear by her work with clients like The Vignelli Center for Design Studies and the Melbert B. Cary, Jr Graphic Arts Collection, where she took on many roles such as creative director, designer, curator, photographer, and project manager.

One of Daniele’s latest successes is with her work with RocVentures, a rock climbing gym in Rochester, NY. She has been involved in refreshing RocVentures’s brand through the redesign of their website, creating new content and a modern aesthetic for their social media, email, and signage, offering advice on community involvement and expansion of their current offerings, and creating unique promotions for their events and classes through email and social campaigns and targeted Google and Facebook/Instagram ads. With her support, RocVentures has increased positive Google Reviews by 20% and increased site sessions by 24%, with session duration increasing 12% quarter over quarter.

Daniele enjoys rock climbing as often as possible, identifying typefaces in the wild, and stands firm in her belief that music peaked in 2005.

In addition to marketing, Gabrielle is a part of the Rochester music scene, writing and performing her own music.

Our Philosophy

About the Linden Tree

Our business and digital marketing philosophy is embodied by the Linden Tree.

Linden Trees can reach heights of 130 feet, their roots extending two to five times their canopy size, have unique heart-shaped leaves, and can live to be over 1,000 years old. The name “Linden” is an homage to Greek mythology symbolizing love and fidelity.

Like any healthy tree, your business needs established roots for a strong foundation, a plan for growth, and a canopy to thrive. Your investment in your business’s marketing, or canopy, should always be aligned with how much growth your organization, or roots, can handle. Linden trees represent our dedication to supporting the balanced, sustainable growth of our clients and their businesses by cultivating the love and passion of what we do.
