Linden Digital Marketing had a recent security issue that affected a small number of websites hosted on our WP Engine server on November 4th, 2025. Our team immediately began working closely with WP Engine and their security specialists to identify and resolve the issue.
As part of our rapid response, we restored all websites affected to a secure backup from before the incident to ensure that no malicious code remains. At this time, WP Engine’s in-depth security review is complete, and we received confirmation that all affected sites are fully clear.
Additionally, some email communications are currently being temporarily blocked by Proofpoint as part of the security containment measures. We are actively coordinating with both WP Engine and Proofpoint to restore normal email delivery as soon as possible.
Our investigation determined that the incident appears to have been linked to a single compromised email account, which has since been secured and removed from our systems.
We take this matter extremely seriously. In addition to resolving the current issue, Linden Digital Marketing is conducting a comprehensive internal security review and evaluating additional protective measures, including solutions such as Sucuri and enhanced access controls, to further strengthen our systems moving forward.
