Rochester, N.Y., (Wednesday, April 26, 2023) — Tech Rochester has selected Lindsay Connelly, Owner and Digital Marketing Strategist at Linden Digital Marketing, as the 2023 Emerging Technology Woman of the Year.
The award recognizes, celebrates, and highlights the achievements of women in high technology fields in Rochester. Through these awards, women who work in these professions are encouraged to stay in the Greater Rochester area, mentor young women, and contribute to the region.
Lindsay Connelly was recognized with this award because of her contributions to Rochester’s digital marketing space, as well as what she has given back to the Rochester community. Lindsay saw a need to make marketing easier and more affordable for small to midsize businesses (SMBs) that were growing and short on internal workforce. Lindsay believes “every company should have the opportunity to be represented in the digital space and understand exactly what they’re getting out of their marketing.”

Outside of marketing, Lindsay devotes her time to the Rochester community through educational speaking engagements at Rochester Institute of Technology (her alma mater), board work for the Journeys of Solutions, and pro-bono work/sponsorships like her work with Putting for the Pediatric ICU Golf Tournament for Golisano Children’s Hospital.
